The date provided in subsections (8) and (9) of this section by which a tenant, lienholder, owner, personal representative or designated person must remove the property must be not less than seven days after the tenant, lienholder, owner, personal representative or designated person contacts the landlord.

(1) Any Person may request a Finder's List of Unclaimed and Escheat Property. (2) To complete the request, the Person must: (a) Submit the request electronically through the Treasurer's Electronic Payment Gateway. (3) The Person must pay the fee of not less $150.00 prior to receiving the report.

You must not keep the belongings for personal use. If you fail to notify the tenant of the right to get abandoned belongings, or refuse to turn over the tenant's belongings after a proper request, the tenant may file an action to recover the belongings.
