To file a Motion to Quash, send it directly to the judge who is hearing the case. (If you are not sure who that is, contact the clerk of the court where the case is being heard and request information about the name of the judge and the proper address to whom it should be mailed or emailed.)

Motions may be filed for the same purposes recognized by the courts of record in the Commonwealth. Unless otherwise ordered by the commission, any response to a motion must be filed within 14 days of the filing of the motion, and any reply by the moving party must be filed within 10 days of the filing of the response.

(b) Motion to Dismiss in the Appellate Court. - At any time after a notice of appeal has been filed and after the expiration of the 21-day period prescribed by Rule 1: 1 , any party to an appeal may file a motion in the appellate court to dismiss the appeal.

If a request, response, or objection is not signed, it shall be stricken unless it is signed promptly after the omission is called to the attention of the party making the request, response, or objection, and a party shall not be obligated to take any action with respect to it until it is signed. If your lawsuit is for more than $200, the filing fee is $26, plus $12 for each person or business you are suing. If your lawsuit is for $200 or less, the filing fee is $21, plus $12 for each person or business you are suing. If you win, the judgment will include your filing and service fees.
