(1) Except as provided in subsection (5), in addition to any right otherwise to revoke an offer, the buyer may cancel a home solicitation sale until midnight of the third business day after the day on which the buyer signs an agreement or offer to purchase which complies with this part.

You can usually "assign" a contract to another party who agrees to uphold your end of the bargain. However, some contracts prevent assignment. When you draft or review a contract, consider whether you would like the right to assign it to someone else.

In order to cancel a contract for deed, a seller needs to complete a form called a notice of cancellation of contract for deed, and have the notice personally served on the buyer.

A sale deed may be cancelled if any party involved is unsatisfied with the deal and makes a claim regarding the same in the court of law. The petitioner needs to get an order from the Civil Court and present it to the Registrar, who will then go ahead with the cancellation process.
