An Arkansas marriage license is valid for 60 days, and you can get married at any time during that window. You must return your marriage license to the county clerk's office where it was issued, whether you used it or not, by the end of the 60 days.

To perform a wedding ceremony in the State of Arkansas, you must register your credentials in a County Clerk's office within Arkansas. The following is required to register your Minister Credentials in Garland County: A copy of your Minister Certification or Minister License.

Officiants are required for marriages in Arkansas. Officiants must be an ordained minister, and registered with the County Clerk's office. Once registered with the Clerk, a person is eligible to officiate marriages in any county.

Both parties are old enough to legally marry within the state (over the age of 18 or parental consent is required for parties age 15 to 17) Both parties are capable of entering the marriage both physically and mentally. Consent to marry was not obtained through fraud. Neither party was forced to marry the other.
