Oklahoma is a non-form state. The Court Clerk's Office does not provide divorce papers. They may be obtained through a legal service or an attorney. The only papers available for divorce are the waiver and summons.

Generally, one spouse will respond to the Petition for Dissolution of Marriage by entering an appearance, signing the Agreed Decree of Divorce, and waiving all further notices from the court. You cannot sign and date either of these signature lines until at least 24 hours AFTER the Petition for Divorce has been filed.

Under Oklahoma law you must wait ten days before your divorce is granted if there are no minor children of the marriage and ninety days after filing if there are minor children of the marriage. A judge might waive some or all of the 90 day waiting period for good cause and if both parties request the waiver in writing.
