California Lemon Law protects you when your vehicle is defective and cannot be repaired after a ?reasonable? number of attempts. The Lemon Law applies to most new vehicles purchased or leased in California that are still under a manufacturer's new-vehicle warranty.

The lemon law prohibits used vehicle dealers in New Mexico from excluding, modifying, or disclaiming the implied warranty of merchantability before the earlier of 15 days or 500 miles after the vehicle's delivery. A dealer who does so renders the purchase agreement voidable.

Per the plain language of the New Mexico Lemon Law, the purchaser of a motor vehicle must only provide the manufacturer with either four (4) times or thirty (30) cumulative days to repair within the vehicle's first one (1) year after delivery.

If these repairs are not completed within 10 calendar days of receipt of this letter, I am entitled to a refund calculated in ance with the Lemon Law.
