Kansas State High School Activities Association Rule 52. The Kansas State High School Activities Association, through its member schools, defines sportsmanship as those qualities of behavior which are characterized by generosity and genuine concern for others.

RULE 18 ? TRANSFER It is devised to eliminate ?school shopping? after a student has initially chosen the school of his/her choice. A student is immediately eligible transfer wise at the member school they attend classes the first day of their 9th grade year and 7th grade year.

A student may not practice with or play on a non-school team in the same sport/activity (see KSHSAA Handbook Rule 22 ? Outside Competition). A student may play on a non-school team in a different sport (subject to the school squad limitations).

Basic KSHSAA Transfer Rule A freshman student is eligible under the transfer rule at any senior high school he/she may choose to attend when he/she enters senior high school for the first time at the beginning of their freshman year. In other words, students get one free pass.
