Common Household Pets (Dogs, Cats, Birds, etc.) A maximum of three (3) dogs, or three (3) cats, or a combination of four (4) total dogs and cats are allowed per property. Up to a total of four (4) rabbits per property. Other small household pets such as birds, fish, or hamsters have no maximum amount.

Allowing the animal would fundamentally alter the essential nature of the landlord's operations. The assistance animal poses a direct threat to others' health or safety (despite reasonable accommodations) The assistance animal could cause significant physical property damage (despite reasonable accommodations)

The letter should provide sufficient details about the individual's disability and the animal that is providing emotional support. The letter should include the individual's name, age, and contact information. It should also include the mental health diagnosis and the type of emotional support animal.

NOTE: Emotional Support Animals are NOT considered service animals by the ADA or Washington State Law and are not protected by the laws outlined for service animals. Admission of ESA's is left to the discretion of the I&Q facility manager. to approach and perform a daily assessment without interference.
