The Dwelling Contractor license is for your business, held under the business name, and does NOT require continuing education.

Theft by a contractor involves the misappropriation of those funds by the prime contractor that are needed for the project to pay suppliers and subcontractors. Essentially, the funds that were supposed to be used to pay the subcontractors and suppliers were used for a different purpose.

Under sub. (5), a misuse of contractor trust funds can form the basis of a prosecution for criminal theft by contractor under s. 943.20.
