Some cases may allow visitors, usually if they are on a list of approved visitors to that inmate and there is no suspicion that the visit will pose a threat to the safety or security of the public generally speaking.

Shoes will be worn at all times by all visitors, including children. Shirts and blouses will not be made of sheer or see-through material. Blouses may not expose any part of the chest, cleavage, or undergarments. Tight-fitting clothing will not be allowed, including leggings or exercise attire.

Inmates are permitted a one hour non contact visit per week from 6-7 p.m. Saturday, except for during state holidays. If the holiday is on any day than Saturday, the inmate can visit on that day, as well as Saturday, from 6-7 p.m. Visitors must check in by p.m.

All rights of inmates will be equally available to all inmates. All inmate responsibilities will be equally enforced. No inmate under the supervision of the Oklahoma County Detention Center will be subject to discrimination based on race, religion, nationality, gender, political belief, handicap, or sexual orientation.

Inmates may have a total of one 15-minute non-contact visit each week. All visits are counted against the resident's weekly visitation maximum. No more than two (2) adult visitors may visit at the same time, with no more than one (1) child with each adult.

You have a right to know if there's an emergency. If your child ends up in the hospital, if your child ends up in the ER, a child is charged with a crime, you have a right to know about those things as the non-custodial parent. Of course, you also have a right to whatever court order visitation you have.
