New Hampshire's child support guidelines provide a formula for determining how much child support an absent parent is required to pay. Generally the amount is 25% of adjusted gross income for one child; 33% for two children; 40% for three children; and 45% for four or more children.

Under New Hampshire law, child support terminates when the child reaches age 18 or graduates from high school whichever occurs last. Where child is paid for only one child, termination is automatic when the later of those two events occur.

A person is responsible to pay child support until the child reaches the age of 18, graduates high school, marries, or joins the armed services, whichever is later.
