Comments Section Terminal can only be after SkillBridge, because to be terminal leave, by definition, it has to coincide with the end of your service. SkillBridge cannot start more than 180 days from the end of your service. In other words, SkillBridge + terminal cannot last more than 180 days.

In addition to opportunities such as Tuition Assistance and the GI Bill program, you can enhance your marketability and post-separation career prospects by participating in a SkillBridge opportunity.
COs should consider whether allowing SkillBridge participation by Sailors in receipt of skill or billet- based special and incentive pays would negatively impact mission readiness. In line with reference (a), COs are always fully authorized to deny or curtail SkillBridge requests in light of mission readiness impacts.
Just contact your regions skillbridge coordinator. They will send you a document that gets signed by your company commander and a field grade (usually BN). It gets sent back to them and they sign it to finalize the approval.
