I joined TNPC last month; however, I still need to write the letter officially terminating my membership at my parents' Methodist Church. I have found some churches deny the withdrawal of membership while under church discipline. Jesus announces the liberating mercy of God to those whom he meets on his way, beginning with the poor, the marginalized, the sinners. So that may be a reason for you to go. Right?
