RCW 19.77 sets out Washington's trademark registration law. Washington's law is modeled after the Model State Trademark Bill (MSTB).As of August 3, 2021, all non-US trademark filing must be done with the representation of a US trademark attorney. Trademarks in Pakistan can be filed for a single class only. Multi class trade mark applications cannot be filed. Trademark rule requires domicile address for all filers and also requires foreigndomiciled applicants and registrants to have a USlicensed attorney. All trade marks undergo the same procedures as set out in the Trade Marks Ordinance and the Trade Marks Rules, 2004. 4.2 Trade Mark Register. The trademark law in Pakistan requires no evidence of prior use of the mark in commerce for filing. Under Section 73 of the Ordinance, you (or a party you authorize) must begin using the mark within five years of your mark's registration with the registry.
