All new and renewing Notaries are required to complete training for a traditional notary appointment through the Nevada Secretary of State training site. The required training consists of two parts, the Notary Public Course and the Notary Public Commission Exam.To start the Notary Application for Appointment, first read the initial alert that provides important details about the filing requirements. Procedure Upon Completion of Application: 1. Complete a notary application for a new or renewal appointment. 2. Paperwork must be filled out completely and properly signed and notarized. Submit your application, filing notice, training certificate and filing fee, to the Secretary of State via the SilverFlume online portal.
