The Alaska Request to Modify or Amend Disposition Order is a legal form that allows individuals to ask the court to change the conditions of their criminal sentence. This form can be used to request a variety of changes, including modifications to prison sentences, fines, probation, parole, and restitution. There are three types of Alaska Request to Modify or Amend Disposition Order: 1) Request to Modify a Sentence; 2) Request to Amend a Disposition; and 3) Request for Expungement. The Request to Modify a Sentence is used when an individual wishes to reduce their sentence or change the terms of their probation or parole. The Request to Amend a Disposition is used when an individual wants to change the terms of their fines or restitution. Finally, the Request for Expungement is used when an individual wishes to have their criminal record cleared or reduced. All requests must be filed with the court and include supporting evidence to demonstrate why the requested change is necessary.
