An Arizona Certificate of Good Standing (Court of Appeals) is an official document issued by the Supreme Court of Arizona, certifying that a business is in compliance with all the required state laws and regulations. This document is required when a business needs to prove its status, such as when applying for a loan or registering for a business license. The two types of Arizona Certificates of Good Standing (Court of Appeals) are the General Certificate of Good Standing and the Special Certificate of Good Standing. The General Certificate of Good Standing is issued to any business registered with the Arizona Secretary of State. The Special Certificate of Good Standing is issued to any business that has been registered with the Arizona Secretary of State for at least one year and has met all the requirements set forth by the Arizona Supreme Court. Both the General and Special Certificates of Good Standing are valid for one year from the date of issuance.
