Arizona Articles of Amendment are legal documents used to make changes to an existing Arizona corporation or limited liability company (LLC). The Articles of Amendment are filed with the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) in order to officially make the changes to the corporation or LLC. There are two different types of Arizona Articles of Amendment: Articles of Amendment to the Articles of Incorporation and Articles of Amendment to the Articles of Organization. Articles of Amendment to the Articles of Incorporation are used to make changes to an existing Arizona corporation, such as changing the corporation's name, increasing or decreasing the number of authorized shares of stock, changing the corporate structure, or changing the registered agent. Articles of Amendment to the Articles of Organization are used to make changes to an existing Arizona LLC, such as changing the LLC's name, changing the registered agent, changing the number of members, or changing the management structure. Both types of Arizona Article of Amendment must be signed by an authorized representative of the corporation or LLC and must be accompanied by the appropriate filing fee.
