The Connecticut Settlement Conference Report of Special Masters is a document that is drafted by a court-appointed neutral party, known as a Special Master, to provide a recommendation or conclusion to the court in regard to a dispute or settlement agreement. The Report is used when a settlement agreement is reached between two or more parties in a dispute and the Special Master is appointed to review the agreement and provide a recommendation to the court. This report is commonly used in family law matters, including divorce, annulment, custody, and child support cases. There are three types of Connecticut Settlement Conference Report of Special Masters: Regular Report, Modified Report, and Final Report. The Regular Report is issued shortly after the settlement conference, and it outlines the parties’ positions and the terms of the settlement agreement. The Modified Report is issued after further review by the Special Master, and it contains revisions or adjustments to the settlement agreement that were made during the review process. The Final Report is issued after the court has approved the settlement agreement, and it contains any additional information or changes to the agreement that were made as a result of the court’s approval.
