The Louisiana Affidavit for 103 Divorce (with children) is a legal document used in the state of Louisiana to dissolve a marriage where children are involved. It is also known as a Petition for Divorce Decree of Divorce. This document is filed by the Petitioner, who is the spouse initiating the divorce, and provides the court with an overview of the marriage, including the grounds for the divorce, financial information, and a parenting plan. The Petitioner must also provide the court with a signed affidavit affirming their agreement to the divorce, if that is the case. There are two types of Louisiana Affidavit for 103 Divorce (with children): Uncontested and Contested. In an Uncontested divorce, both parties agree to the divorce and agree to the terms of the divorce, including the division of assets and debts, child support and custody arrangements. In a Contested divorce, the parties are unable to agree on one or more issues, and the court must intervene to decide those issues.
