Minnesota Rehabilitation Response (MR) is a program designed to help individuals with disabilities. It provides services that help individuals with disabilities gain access to employment, education, and other services that will help them become more independent. The program offers services such as: • Vocational counseling and assessment: This helps individuals to identify their career goals and develop the skills necessary to achieve them. • Job placement and training: This helps individuals to find suitable job opportunities. • Financial assistance: This helps individuals with disabilities to cover costs associated with job related expenses. • Supported employment: This helps individuals with disabilities to find and maintain employment. • Community integration: This helps individuals with disabilities to gain access to services and resources in their community. • Independent living: This helps individuals with disabilities to live more independently. MR also provides services specific to certain disabilities, such as physical and mental health services, vocational counseling, and independent living skills training. MR is funded by the state of Minnesota and administered by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
