A New York Certificate of Change (Domestic Limited Partnership) is a document that is filed with the New York Department of State for making certain changes to a domestic limited partnership. The changes that can be made include changes to the name of the partnership, the address, the composition of the partners, the duration of the partnership, the purpose of the partnership, and/or the issuing of additional certificates. The document must be signed by a partner or an authorized representative of the partnership. There are two types of New York Certificate of Change (Domestic Limited Partnership): a Statement of Change and an Amendment to Limited Partnership Agreement. The Statement of Change is used to make changes to the partnership without making any changes to the partnership agreement. The Amendment to Limited Partnership Agreement is used to make changes to the partnership agreement.
