The Oklahoma Jury Panel Oath — EFFECTIVE Nov. 1, 2013 is an oath taken by individuals who have been called to serve as jurors in Oklahoma courts. The oath is intended to ensure that jurors will fulfill their obligation to serve impartially and honestly, and that they will remain unbiased in reaching their decisions. The Oklahoma Jury Panel Oath — EFFECTIVE Nov. 1, 2013 includes two types of oaths, one for the Grand Jurors and one for the Petite Jurors. Grand Jury Oath: I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will diligently inquire into and true presentment make of all matters submitted to me in my position as a grand juror. I will keep secret all matters brought before me as a grand juror, and I will faithfully and impartially discharge my duties as grand juror of this court. So help me God. Petite Jury Oath: I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will well and truly try the cause now before me, and a true verdict according to the law and evidence give. I will keep secret all matters brought before me as a petite juror, and I will faithfully and impartially discharge my duties as petite juror of this court. So help me God.
