The South Carolina Support Information Sheet (SCSI) is a document provided by the South Carolina Department of Social Services (SC DSS) to assist individuals in understanding their child support obligations. The SCSI provides information on child support guidelines, the process for establishing and modifying child support orders, and other resources available to help individuals fulfill their child support obligations. There are three types of South Carolina Support Information Sheet: 1) Initial Order Information Sheet; 2) Modification Order Information Sheet; and 3) Support Enforcement Information Sheet. The Initial Order Information Sheet provides information about the process for establishing a child support order in South Carolina and contains details on the legal requirements for filing a petition and the rights of both parents. The Modification Order Information Sheet provides information on the process for modifying an existing child support order in South Carolina, including the legal requirements for filing a petition and the rights of both parents. The Support Enforcement Information Sheet provides information on the process for enforcing a child support order in South Carolina, including the legal requirements for filing a petition and the rights of both parents.
