Agency Staffing Agreement is a document that defines the terms and conditions between an agency, often referred to as the "Staffing Agency", and a client, often referred to as the "hiring organization". These agreements are designed to facilitate the placement of temporary and/or permanent staff within the client's organization. The key elements of an Agency Staffing Agreement include: • Identification of the staffing agency and the hiring organization • The scope of services provided by the staffing agency • The type of staff to be provided (temporary, permanent, etc.) • Any special requirements of the hiring organization • The payment structure for the staffing services • The duration of the agreement • The confidentiality and non-disclosure provisions • The termination provisions There are two main types of Agency Staffing Agreement: • Contingency Staffing Agreements, which are used when the staffing agency is paid only when it successfully places a candidate with the hiring organization. • Retained Staffing Agreements, which are used when the staffing agency is paid a fee for an exclusive search and placement of a candidate. In both cases, the agreement should clearly spell out the service to be provided by the staffing agency, the payment structure, and any other important terms.
