Form 10 — Bill of Costs is a document used in the UK civil court system. It is used by the costs lawyer or the court to set out the legal costs and expenses incurred in a case. It is typically used at the end of a case and is used for the court to make a costs order. The form consists of two parts; Part 1 sets out the costs incurred by the successful party, and Part 2 sets out the costs incurred by the unsuccessful party. Form 10 — Bill of Costs can be divided into two types: Interim Bill of Costs and Final Bill of Costs. An Interim Bill of Costs is used when costs are to be paid out prior to the conclusion of the case. A Final Bill of Costs is used when the case is completed and all costs have been calculated. The Final Bill of Costs must be approved by the court before any costs are paid.
