Aggravated Sexual Abuse: Sexual Act with a Child Under 12 is a criminal offense in which an adult engages in a sexual act with a child who is under 12 years of age. This type of abuse can take many forms, including sexual touching, penetration, exploitation, and/or coercion. It is considered a serious crime in most jurisdictions and is punishable by lengthy prison sentences. There are four primary types of Aggravated Sexual Abuse: Sexual Act with a Child Under 12: 1. Sexual Assault: Any unwanted sexual contact, including touching, penetration, or exploitation, of a child under 12 years of age. 2. Sexual Exploitation: Any activity that involves coercing or manipulating a child under 12 to engage in sexual acts or to view sexually explicit material. 3. Sexual Abuse by a Caregiver: Any sexual contact, exploitation, or coercion of a child under 12 by an adult in a position of authority or trust over the child. 4. Sexual Abuse by a Stranger: Any sexual contact, exploitation, or coercion of a child under 12 by an adult who is unknown to the child.
