18 U.S.C. Sec. 1029(E)(9) Definition of "Telecommunications Service" defines the term "telecommunications service" as a service that enables communication, including but not limited to the transmission and reception of voice, data, images, signals, and any other communications over a telecommunications' system. This includes, but is not limited to, two-way interactive voice, data, and video services. The different types of 18 U.S.C. Sec. 1029(E)(9) Definition of "Telecommunications Service" are: 1. Voice Service: enables the transmission and reception of voice communication (e.g. telephone calls, text messaging) 2. Data Service: enables the transmission and reception of data (e.g. internet access, email) 3. Video Service: enables the transmission and reception of video (e.g. streaming video, video conferencing) 4. Any Other Communications: enables the transmission and reception of any other type of communication (e.g. radio signals, satellite transmissions)
