The Utah Application for Tribal Limited Partnership (UT TLP) is a document designed to help Native American tribes form a limited partnership with a state. The UT TLP provides an agreement between the tribe and the state that outlines the purpose and goals of the partnership. The document outlines the rights and responsibilities of each party, the terms and conditions of the partnership, and the procedures for dispute resolution. It also provides a mechanism for the tribe to access state resources and services. The UT TLP is divided into two parts: The General Agreement and the Tribal Limited Partnership Agreement. The General Agreement outlines the general terms of the partnership, including the purpose, goals, roles and responsibilities of each party, and the procedures for dispute resolution. The Tribal Limited Partnership Agreement outlines the specific rights and responsibilities of the tribe and the state, as well as how the tribe will access state resources and services. There are two types of UT TLP: the Tribal Application and the State Application. The Tribal Application is filed by the tribe in order to start the process of forming a limited partnership with the state. The State Application is filed by the state in order to approve the partnership agreement.
