Washington Order to Report to Residential Treatment Center Pursuant to DOSE Sentence (OUTDOOR) is a court-ordered sentence in the state of Washington that requires an offender to attend a residential treatment center as a condition of their sentence. This type of sentence is typically used for individuals who have been convicted of a crime and are deemed to have a high risk of recidivism. The offender must remain in the treatment center until they have completed the program and have been deemed rehabilitated. There are two types of Washington Order to Report to Residential Treatment Center Pursuant to DOSE Sentence (OUTDOOR): long-term and short-term. Long-term treatment requires the offender to stay in the residential treatment center for a period of time that is determined by the court. During this time, the individual will receive intensive therapeutic services such as individual, group, and family counseling, as well as substance abuse treatment. Short-term treatment requires the offender to stay in the treatment center for a shorter period of time, usually no longer than 90 days. During this time, the individual will receive similar therapeutic services as long-term treatment.
