Washington Offender Registration Attachment (WORK) is a notification requirement that applies to people convicted of certain sex offenses in the state of Washington. These offenders must provide their current address and other identifying information to the Washington State Patrol (WSP) within three business days of release. WORK also requires offenders to notify WSP within three business days of any address changes. The purpose of WORK is to ensure that offenders are aware of their obligations and to protect the public by providing law enforcement with accurate information about where sex offenders live. There are two types of Washington Offender Registration Attachment: 1. WORK Level I: This applies to offenders convicted of low-risk sexual offenses such as indecent exposure or voyeurism. These offenders must provide their address and other identifying information to the WSP within three business days of release. 2. WORK Level II: This applies to offenders convicted of high-risk sexual offenses such as rape or child molestation. These offenders must provide their address and other identifying information to the WSP within three business days of release and must notify the WSP within three business days of any address changes.
