The Washington Application for Manufactured Home Installer Training and Certification is an online system used for the certification and training of installers of manufactured homes in the state of Washington. This system is administered by the Department of Licensing, and is intended to ensure that all installers are qualified and knowledgeable of the necessary safety and installation regulations. The Washington Application for Manufactured Home Installer Training and Certification consists of two main types of applications: the Initial Application and the Renewal Application. The Initial Application is used for applicants who are applying for certification for the first time and must provide a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a completed installer application form. The Renewal Application is used for applicants who are renewing their certification and must provide their current certification number, proof of insurance, and a completed renewal application form. Both applications require applicants to complete a background check and a written examination, as well as attend an in-person training course and complete a hands-on installation assessment. Upon successful completion of all the requirements, applicants will be issued a certificate of certification which must be renewed every two years.
