Washington Registered Apprenticeship in the Construction Industry is a program designed to provide training and career opportunities in the building trades. The program is a partnership between employers, labor organizations, and the Washington State Apprenticeship and Training Council. The program provides apprentices with the skills and knowledge needed to safely and effectively perform the tasks of their chosen trade. There are several types of Washington Registered Apprenticeship in the Construction Industry, including: Carpentry, Masonry, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Sheet Metal, Ironworking, and Heavy Equipment Operator. The program provides apprentices with the opportunity to earn while they learn, and upon completion of the program, apprentices receive a certificate of completion and are eligible for higher-level positions within the construction industry.
