Under the Federal Aviation Act of 1958, any conveyance that affects the title to, or any interest in, any civil aircraft of the United States must be acknowledged and recorded with the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration in the manner prescribed by statute. After such an instrument is recorded, it is valid as to all persons without recording and regardless of notice.
Documents relating to interests in aircraft are filed with the FAA Registry in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Documents must be signed in ink by the appropriate party (e.g. seller, grantor, lien claimant, etc.) or by someone on behalf of the appropriate party with a title acceptable to the FAA (President, Chief Manager etc.). The FAA Registry Examination Guidelines contain a list of titles that are acceptable to the FAA.
To be eligible for recording, an instrument granting a security interest in an aircraft must be signed in ink and describe the aircraft by manufacturer, model, serial number, and registration number. The debtor must be the registered owner of the aircraft; be the owner of record on the date the instrument is executed, as evidenced by documents on file with the FAA Aircraft Registry; or the lien document be accompanied by the debtors evidence of ownership/, application.
Oakland Michigan Aircraft Lease Agreement with Lessee to Supply New Engine in Exchange for Flight Hours and take a Security Interest in Engine: The Oakland Michigan Aircraft Lease Agreement is a legal contract entered into by the lessor (the owner of the aircraft) and the lessee (the party leasing the aircraft) for the purpose of leasing an aircraft with certain conditions and provisions. In this particular lease agreement, the lessee agrees to supply a new engine for the aircraft in exchange for flight hours and grants a security interest in the engine. This unique lease agreement allows the lessee to provide a new engine, which is an essential component of the aircraft, as a form of consideration instead of traditional payment. By doing so, the lessee not only gains access to the aircraft but also has the opportunity to accumulate flight hours, which can be valuable for various purposes such as pilot training or business travel. Furthermore, as part of this lease agreement, the lessor takes a security interest in the engine. This means that if the lessee fails to fulfill their obligations under the agreement (e.g., not maintaining the aircraft or defaulting on payment for other services), the lessor has the legal right to repossess the engine. The security interest provides assurance to the lessor that their investment is protected and encourages the lessee to uphold their responsibilities. While there may be different types of Oakland Michigan Aircraft Lease Agreements with Lessee to Supply New Engine in Exchange for Flight Hours and take a Security Interest in Engine, they are typically tailored to meet the specific needs and requirements of the parties involved. These agreements may vary in terms of the duration of the lease, the number of flight hours required, specific maintenance obligations, and other pertinent provisions. Ultimately, this innovative type of lease agreement allows for a mutually beneficial arrangement where the lessee can enjoy the benefits of an aircraft and gain flight experience while providing the lessor with a new engine and securing their interest in the asset. It offers a practical solution for individuals or businesses in need of aviation services while promoting transparency and accountability between the parties involved.Oakland Michigan Aircraft Lease Agreement with Lessee to Supply New Engine in Exchange for Flight Hours and take a Security Interest in Engine: The Oakland Michigan Aircraft Lease Agreement is a legal contract entered into by the lessor (the owner of the aircraft) and the lessee (the party leasing the aircraft) for the purpose of leasing an aircraft with certain conditions and provisions.
