El padre tendra derecho a dos (2) semanas de licencia remunerada de paternidad. La licencia remunerada de paternidad opera por los hijos nacidos del conyuge o de la companera permanente, asi como para el padre adoptante.

¿Cuanto tiempo tengo para pedir la baja de paternidad? El plazo para solicitar la baja por paternidad debe ser dentro de los 15 primeros dias desde el nacimiento, adopcion o acogimiento del menor.

El unico soporte valido para el otorgamiento de la licencia remunerada de paternidad es el registro civil de nacimiento, el cual debera presentarse a la EPS a mas tardar dentro de los 30 dias siguientes a la fecha del nacimiento del menor.

La licencia parental flexible de tiempo parcial sera remunerada con base en el salario de quien disfrute de la licencia por el periodo correspondiente. El pago de la misma estara a cargo del respectivo empleador o EPS. El pago del salario por el tiempo parcial laborado se regira acorde con la normatividad vigente.

Esta licencia esta a cargo de la EPS y se paga proporcionalmente a las semanas cotizadas por el padre durante el periodo de gestacion. Para el reconocimiento se debe presentar a la EPS el Registro Civil de Nacimiento, dentro de los 30 dias siguientes a la fecha de nacimiento del menor.

Se calcula tomando el importe de la base reguladora del mes anterior al nacimiento de tu hijo y se divide entre el numero de dias segun sea tu salario: mensual o diario. Si es mensual, se dividira por 30, y si es diario, por 28, 29, 30 o 31.

Hace un par de dias el presidente Ivan Duque sanciono la Ley 2114 de 2021 que amplia la licencia de paternidad y crea la licencia parental compartida y la licencia parental flexible. La nueva ley detalla que el padre tendra derecho a dos (2) semanas de licencia remunerada de paternidad.
