[Fulton Georgia Letter Informing Debt Collector of False or Misleading Misrepresentations in Collection Activities — Falsely Representing Any Services Rendered or Compensation Which May be Lawfully Received by any Debt Collector for the Collection of a Debt] Dear [Debt Collector's Name], I am writing to bring to your attention certain false or misleading misrepresentations I have identified in your collection activities regarding the debt associated with my account. It has come to my attention that you have been falsely representing the services rendered or the compensation that may be lawfully received by a debt collector for the collection of a debt. As per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FD CPA) and relevant state laws, it is imperative that debt collectors accurately represent the services they provide and the compensation they may lawfully receive. Failure to do so not only undermines the integrity of your collection agency but also violates consumer rights. These actions have caused confusion and distress, and I find them to be in direct violation of my rights as a consumer. To rectify this issue, I kindly request that you cease any further false or misleading misrepresentations regarding the services rendered or compensation lawfully receivable. I would appreciate it if you could review your collection practices ensuring compliance with the FD CPA and any pertinent state laws. Furthermore, I would like to inform you that I have documented evidence of these misleading representations. If necessary, I am prepared to take appropriate legal action to protect my rights and seek compensation for any damages caused by your erroneous statements. Please note that I expect prompt action to address this matter and prevent any further misleading representations from occurring. Failure to comply with this request may result in legal consequences. I look forward to a swift resolution to this matter.
