Physical TDS returns must be submitted at the TIN-FC. The NSDL manages all TIN-FCs. In case returns are filed online, they can be submitted on the official website of the NSDL TIN. However, a level 2 digital signature must be used by the deductor in case TDS returns are filed online.

Form 12BA is required to be issued only when the salary paid or payable to the employee exceeds Rs 150,000. If of salary not exceeding Rs 150,000, details of perquisites which already forms part of 'Part B' of Form 16 itself would suffice and no requirement of the separate states in the form of 'Form 12BA'.

Deductors furnishing e-TDS/TCS returns are required to furnish a control chart - Form 27A in physical form along with the e-TDS/TCS return furnished in CD/Pen Drive.
