Once your claim has been processed and reviewed you will receive a Monetary Determination letter in the mail (which will be sent to the address that was provided on your application). This letter will tell you if you are qualified to receive unemployment benefits and how much you will receive weekly.

Employers who continually fail to respond to claims in a timely and accurate manner can be charged for a former employee's UI benefits (via their UI account) even if it is later determined that the claimant was ineligible.

You may be denied benefits if you: Were fired because you violated a company policy, rule or procedure, such as absenteeism or insubordination. Quit your job without good cause, such as a compelling personal reason.
