Get Government Purchase Card Holders List

Candidates must successfully complete formal training to qualify as purchase card holders. This requirement can be satisfied by successfully completing an online training course offered by the General Services Administration with prior approval from the Agency Program Coordinator.

The Cardholder is responsible for the following: 1. Completing all required training prior to being issued a Purchase Card. 2. Purchasing goods or services in ance with established Department policy, procurement regulations, and individual internal office procedures.

Purchase cards make it easy for you to buy the things you need for your agency. All Schedule contractors are required to accept the government purchase card for purchases up to the micro-purchase threshold and encouraged to do so for purchases over it.

The GPC shall be used to pay for government-owned material or government-performed services received from other government sources (e.g. Defense Logistics Agency Document Services, GSA Global, and Defense Logistics Agency). h. The GPC shall be used as a method of payment for all commercial training $25,000 and below.

You, as the account holder are the Government's legal agent for each purchase made with the purchase account, thus legally responsible and accountable for each transaction. You are responsible for complying with all applicable regulations and procedures of your agency.

The Governmentwide purchase card may be used to (1) Make micro-purchases; (2) Place a task or delivery order (if authorized in the basic contract, basic ordering agreement, or blanket purchase agreement; or (3) Make payments, when the contractor agrees to accept payment by the card.
