Submission of the $80 application fee (non-refundable) is available through the chosen application. Check or money order is also an acceptable form of payment and should be sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions directly with the applicant's name (as seen on the application) and date of birth.

Your place at UConn is secured by completing your Reply Form found in your applicant portal and submitting the $400 non-refundable enrollment fee by May 1. If you are admitted after May 1, your enrollment fee is due within two weeks of the date marked on your acceptance letter.

Complete and submit an online application. You will be asked to provide a valid credit card for a non-refundable payment of the application fee ($75.00). In some circumstances, your application fee may be waived. Please refer to the UConn Graduate School Fee Waiver Policy.

University of Connecticut admissions are moderately competitive with an acceptance rate of 56%. University of Connecticut houses 32,096 students as for Fall 2022. This comprises 24,076 undergraduates and 8,020 graduate students.

Classes are offered days, evenings, and weekends at our five campuses and online. Students interested in pursuing non-degree study must complete an application. Registration as a non-degree student is on a space-available basis. Credits earned from UConn courses are transferable to most other institutions.

We recognize that the $85 application fee is a significant barrier for some of our applicants. There are two processes for applicants to address this barrier: fee waivers from the UW Graduate School, and fee pre-payment options for students in participating pipeline programs (see below).
