CTA Level 1 (Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting Sciences: 98231) is a 'bridge' to the one-year CTA (CTA Level 2). Although you only cover about 70% of the full CTA level 2 syllabus, it still represents more work, a higher level of integration, and different requirements to undergrad.

The first and ONLY fully ONLINE SAICA-accredited CTA (Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting), represents a new way of qualifying as a CA(SA) with a focus on guidance, support, flexibility and interaction.

The purpose of this qualification is to enable qualifying students to be certified as competent in the Theory of Accountancy (CTA Level 2), which is the admission requirement for Part 1 of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants' (SAICA's) Initial Test of Competence (ITC).

Potential students must have passed all four modules (Accounting, Auditing, Financial management and Taxation) on NQF 7 in their final year of their degree in the same year.
