AB 1949 provides eligible employees with up to five days of bereavement leave upon the death of a qualifying family member. It depends on the number of days you have worked. If you have worked between 110-220 days, you earn 1 day of vacation for every 22 days worked. Once you have worked at least 220 days in a year, you are entitled to the full allotment of vacation leave.
