Get Yahtzee Score Card

Each player keeps his own score on a YAHTZEE score card to be marked with the player's name. To determine who goes first, each player places all five dice in the dice cup and rolls out all the dice; the player with the highest total starts the game.

In Yahtzee, scores are kept on a sheet of paper containing a column of 13 boxes. On each turn, you must choose which box to fill in based on your best scoring option. If you are unable to enter a score, or choose not to, you must enter a "0" in one of your boxes. Each box can be filled in only once.

The simplest way to obtain more Yahtzee score cards, also referred to as Yahtzee scoresheets, is to purchase a new scorepad from the manufacturer. Many Yahtzee players prefer to use the official scorecard as it exudes an air of dignity.

A Yahtzee is a 5 of a Kind (i.e. all the die faces are the same), and it scores 50 points. If you roll more than one Yahtzee in a single game, you will earn a 100 point bonus for each additional Yahtzee roll, provided that you have already scored a 50 in the Yahtzee category.

Score in this Your goal in the Upper Section is to score a total of at least 63 points, to earn a 35-point bonus. The bonus points are based on scoring three of each number (Aces through Sixes); however, you may earn the bonus with any combination of scores totaling 63 points or more.

As long as you've scored 50 in the YAHTZEE box, you get a YAHTZEE bonus for each additional YAHTZEE you roll - just squeeze in the check marks if necessary!
