<100 TSS = Low (Easily recovered by the following day) 100-200 TSS = Medium (Some residual fatigue present the following day, gone by 2nd day) 200-300 TSS = High (Residual fatigue usually present after 2 days) 300-400 TSS = Very High (Residual fatigue lasting 2-4 days likely)

Average power gives your average power amount during the ride, expressed in Watts (a measure of how much energy you are placing into the pedals.) This is inclusive of the entire ride, and Strava includes zeros (coasting).

A constant fatigue score of 80 or more, for me, will result in a decrease in form, performance and physical gain, in a relatively short space of time (approximately 3 weeks). If your fatigue score is relatively high, yet you haven't been stressing your muscles lately, your FTP may need to be updated.

Ideally, you have a Fitness that is at or above 70 and a Form that is close to, or above 0. How does Strava track Fitness Scores?

Fitness Score 120+: You have a daily routine and it includes substantial time working out, running or cycling. You might be measuring training in total hours spent per week, and if so are likely to be in the 10+ hours range.

The Fitness/Freshness graph tracks the amount of training you have done and how fatigued you are in order to produce a number which represents your current form. Taking a rider who uses a heart rate monitor as an example, Strava creates a weighted average of these Suffer Scores over the 42-day period.

Being in form, or "peaking," happens when one is very fit but not fatigued. Here we model this as the difference between your Fitness Score and your Fatigue Score.
