This Corps is home to medical administrative, scientific, and provider specialties, from direct patient care to management of the U.S. Army's health service system.

Students are commissioned Active Duty and receive full pay and allowances commensurate with rank during entire program. Tuition expenses are paid by the Army.

AMEDD Aviation Crew Member Course (4 weeks) consists of: Aviation rescue equipment. Patient movement items (PMI) MEDEVAC doctrine. Aircrew Training Program (ATP)

AECP cadets receive a scholarship for tuition and fees up to $15,000 per year and an annual textbook allowance of $600. The school they attend must be at or below the $15,000 cap for year-round tuition and fees. Last year, 74 out of 94 applicants were accepted into the program across the Air Force.

Soldiers must be able to complete all degree requirements and commission prior to age 34. This generally means that the Soldier must be no more than 31.5 years when starting the nursing program unless in an accelerated program. Waivers may be requested on a case-by-case basis.

AMEDD Enlisted Commissioning Program The AMEDD EN Commissioning Program (AECP) provides eligible Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard or AGR Army Soldiers the opportunity to complete a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) and receive a commission in the Active Duty component of the ARMY Nurse Corps.
