The Scouts BSA is a big organization that provides many services to its members. The fee helps them maintain all of their programs and pays the background expenses needed to keep the Scouting running. In addition, the fee also helps the Scouts BSA provide: Extra programs.

Cub Scouts who join a pack are assigned to dens with ideally six to eight members, usually based on age: Lion Scouts (kindergarten), Tiger Scouts (first grade), Wolf Scouts (second grade), Bear Scouts (third grade), and Webelos Scouts (fourth and fifth grades).

The class A. uniform is worn at the Troop Meetings, some camping trips, and some service projects. The neckerchief and sash are added to the Class A uniform during Ceremonies, Court of Honors, and other special functions when announced.

Star is the fifth rank of Boy Scouts. A Scout can complete requirements for any other rank in virtually any order, but the ranks must be earned in sequence (Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star, Life, and Eagle). The requirements for the Star rank are much different than the previous ranks.

All waters used for Scouting activities must be classified as C, B1, B2, B3 or A in ance Rule 9.44b. Water class definitions: Class C - safe inland waters which are less than 100m wide where flow causes little effect (including swimming pools)

EAGLE SCOUT is the highest rank attainable. To become an Eagle Scout, you must earn a total of 21 merit badges and demonstrate Scout Spirit, service and leadership. This includes an extensive service project that you will plan, organize, lead, and manage.

Our Troop's activities uniform (sometimes referred to as the Class “B”) consists of our Troop T-shirt, official Scout pants or shorts, official BSA socks and belt.

Class B shirts are only worn to pack campouts and upon direction of the Cubmaster. Otherwise, class A uniforms are worn at all times. Class B shirts may also be worn to summer camp unless different instructions are given. Any pants or shorts are permitted (blue, olive green, or denim are preferred).
