Select the user whose licenses you want to manage. Select Licenses and apps. Select licenses that you want to assign to the user, or deselect licenses that you want to unassign from the user. Select Save changes.

Manual STEP 1: Create Office 365 License group. Go to the Azure Admin Portal (https://portal.azure.com) Go to Azure Active Directory, Groups and click on New Group. STEP 2: Assign License to the group. From the Azure Active Directory blade click on Licenses. Go to All products, select a license, and click Assign.

Return to the Microsoft 365 admin center and go to Users > Active users and select the user you want to assign a license to. The settings for that user open in a fly-out. Select the Licenses and Apps tab in the flyout and then select the Dynamics 365 Marketing User License check box to assign the license to this user.

To assign a license to a user On the Products page, select the name of the license plan you want to assign to the user. After you select the license plan, select Assign. On the Assign page, select Users and groups, and then search for and select the user you're assigning the license.

Go to Admin Console > Users. Review details of users to avoid a wrong assignment. If a user isn't added, or their name/email is incorrect, add the user, or edit user details. For license reassignment, unassign, then reassign.

In the admin center, go to the Users > Active users page. Select the circles next to the names of the users that you want to assign licenses to. At the top, select Manage product licenses. In the Manage product licenses pane, select Assign more: Keep the existing licenses and assign more > Next.

Select Azure Active Directory > Users, and then open the Profile page for a user. Select Licenses. Select Assignments to edit license assignment for the user or group.

In the admin center, go to the Users > Active users page. Select the row of the user that you want to assign a license to. In the right pane, select Licenses and Apps. Expand the Licenses section, select the boxes for the licenses that you want to assign, then select Save changes.

To assign a license to a user On the Products page, select the name of the license plan you want to assign to the user. After you select the license plan, select Assign. On the Assign page, select Users and groups, and then search for and select the user you're assigning the license.

Exchange Online is licensed via a subscription model in which each user needs a User Subscription License (USL). Three types of subscriptions are available: Exchange Online Kiosk, Exchange Online Plan 1, and Exchange Online Plan 2.
