When you are setting up Audio Conferencing for Microsoft Teams, dial-in phone numbers are automatically assigned to your organization. To see the phone numbers that are assigned to your audio conferencing bridge, in the Microsoft Teams admin center, go to Meetings > Conference bridges.

Use Teams admin center Go to Users -> Manage users. Select a user. Under Account General information, select Edit. Under Assign phone number, from the Phone number type drop-down menu, select Direct Routing.

To assign a license to a user On the Products page, select the name of the license plan you want to assign to the user. After you select the license plan, select Assign. On the Assign page, select Users and groups, and then search for and select the user you're assigning the license.

In the left navigation, select Voice > Phone numbers. On the Phone numbers page, choose an unassigned number in the list, and then select Change usage.

Assign licenses to multiple users At the top, select Manage product licenses. In the Manage product licenses pane, select Assign more: Keep the existing licenses and assign more > Next. Under Licenses, select the box for the license(s) that you want the selected users to have.

Currently, Microsoft supports two telephone number types: User numbers, also called subscriber numbers, which can be assigned to users in your organization. Service numbers, which are assigned to services, such as Audio Conferencing, Auto Attendants, or Call Queues.

Select Azure Active Directory > Users, and then open the Profile page for a user. Select Licenses. Select Assignments to edit license assignment for the user or group.

Assign a phone number to a user To assign a number by using the Teams admin center: Open the Microsoft Teams admin center and log in with a user that is a Global admin. This is usually the account you used to sign up for Microsoft 365. In the left navigation, click Voice > Phone numbers.
