A repetition of course policy involving a limit on forgiveness-type repeats is not new to CSUF: A 16-unit repeat limit on forgiveness-type repeats has been in effect for many years and remains in place. This policy does not grant a “new” 16 units of Grade Forgiveness for students.

If you plan to leave CSUF without completing your academic program and do not plan to return, please fill out the Exit Form and select “I will not complete my degree program and will leave the U.S.” You will also need to attach your flight itinerary as proof of departure from the U.S.

Withdrawing from the University will impact your financial aid....If you wish to withdraw from the University, complete the following steps: Log in to RAMweb. Click "Menu" Click "Registration" to access a list of options. Click "University Withdrawal" at the bottom of the list. Follow the prompts to complete your application.

You may drop classes online throughout the self-service registration period without departmental approval. The classes will not be included on your transcript and the units will not count toward the Undergraduate Withdrawal Limit. NOTE: Dropping may affect your tuition calculation and Financial Aid.

Undergraduate students may submit a Retroactive Change of Grading Basis petition only if: 1) The class is set up to offer both the 'letter grade' and the 'credit/no credit' grading basis. and 2) The petition requests a change in the grading basis from 'credit/no credit' to 'letter grade'.

After the second week of classes to withdrawal from a class, you must submit and online withdrawal form through Registration and Records and a "W" will show up on your transcript. The symbol 'W' indicates that you were permitted to withdrawal from the course after the deadline to drop the course has passed.
