Students that meet all eligibility requirements and are attending an eligible private college or university receive a HOPE Scholarship award amount, to be applied toward standard undergraduate tuition, up to a maximum of 12 hours, based on a half-time or full-time enrollment status.

A HOPE Scholarship recipient must graduate from high school with a minimum 3.00 grade point average (as calculated by GSFC) and maintain a minimum 3.00 cumulative postsecondary grade point average to remain eligible.

Awards are based on anticipated enrollment in 15 credit hours each semester. For 2020-21, annual awards will be set at a maximum of $7,680. For students who are enrolled for the summer semester, the HOPE Scholarship will pay per credit hour based on the summer tuition cost in addition to the maximum mentioned above.

CTC students must complete the HOPE Scholarship Evaluation Form (available online or from the Financial Aid Office) to be evaluated for the HOPE Scholarship.
